  • Engine power: 1,400 Horsepower (HP)
  • Aim: Reduce fuel cost and lower carbon emissions

2. India’s First Namo Bharat RRTS

  • RRTS = Regional Rapid Transit System
  • Flagged off at Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh)
  • Total corridor length: 82 km
  • Connects Delhi with Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Modinagar & Meerut
  • Objective: Faster inter-city urban connectivity
