What are Parasites?
· Parasites are the small animals that depend on other living organisms for their food.
· Ex: Mosquitoes, fleas, leeches, bugs etc.
· Some parasites such as tapeworm, round worm, hook worm live inside the body of animal and eat the food after it is digested by animals
Define food chain ?
· Food chain is the series of events in an environment or ecosystem in which one living organism eats the other and that is subsequently eaten by larger organism.
· Food chain is the succession of transfers of matter and energy in the form of food from organism to another in ecology.
· Food chain shows that all animals depend directly / indirectly on green plants for their food
